In approximately ten (10) business days after your loan has funded you will be receiving the following items in the mail from GMAC:
- GMAC Bank Welcome Letter: Your welcome letter will include your checking account number, information for direct deposits, and a signature card.
- Upon receiving this letter, call GMAC Bank at 800-648-5508 to:
- Set up your account for online banking (create username and password)
- Assist you in enrolling in Bill Pay (optional)
- Assist you in setting up your external account(s) for transfers
- Your PIN number(s) and ATM Card(s) will also arrive (separately)
- Your first set of checks
- A Welcome Letter from GMAC Mortgage that will include your loan number. Please register at www.gmacmortgage.com to view your account summary and statements online.
If you do not receive the above information in approximately ten business days, please call your CMG Client Liaisons at (866) 659-8989 and we will research with GMAC the status of your items.
