ACH/EFT Transfer: This transfer can be done two ways 1) Call GMAC bank and ask them to transfer money in from your existing bank/credit union into your GMAC checking account. 2) From GMACbank.com online banking, enter in external account numbers and amount you would like to transfer (you must have online banking already setup). Funds will be available in two business days. Keep in mind the EST transfer cutoff times.

Direct Deposit: Setup direct deposit of your payroll from your employer directly into your GMAC account, usually you will need a voided check.

Bill Pay: From your existing bank/credit union bill pay yourself to GMAC bank. This process may take up to five business days to be processed and not all banks can bill pay to another bank. Your bank may be sending a paper check rather than an electronic transfer.

Wire Transfer: This transfer is backed by the Federal Reserve System and initiated from your current bank/credit union.  You will need your GMAC account and routing numbers for the transfer. A small fee may be charged by the issuing bank, but funds are guaranteed and will be available in one business day. Keep in mind the EST wire cutoff times.

Bank-by-Mail: Mail an endorsed check with a deposit slip to GMAC Bank's lock box.
